OVERVIEW OF THE AP SUPERVISOR ROLE:

• AP Supervisor leads, motivates, and provides guidance, training, and performance feedback to a small team.
• Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department, including supervising staff, managing workflows, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments
• AP Supervisor ensures that financial deadlines are met and that customer service is provided to all internal stakeholders
• Monitor accounts and ensure that any discrepancies are identified and resolved
• Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Manage the budget and ensure optimal cost savings
• AP Supervisor prepares monthly and annual reports for management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR AP SUPERVISOR ROLE:

• Proven experience (3 years) as an Accounts Payable Manager, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
