Main Responsibilities Of The Accountant:
- Work closely with the project managers throughout the life of the project, ensuring financially and administratively accuracy reflected in monthly invoicing based on contract requirements
- Set up billings and close out projects
- project costs are recorded properly; prepare project labor and expense adjustments when needed
- Review and processing of project budgets, vendor proposals, change orders, and invoices within financial system
- Assist at month end and year end with reports and reconciliations
Qualifications Of The Project Accountant:
- Viewpoint software experience
- Prior construction, real estate, or property management industry experience
- Detailed and organized
- Strong communication skills
