Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Conduct regular assessments to track each child's progress and development
- Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Incorporate various teaching methods and materials to engage students in active learning
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or daycare setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special education or physical education requirements
- Excellent organizational skills to plan and implement daily activities and lesson plans
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
