FUNCTIONS- Client Responsibilities

• meal preparation
• medication administration
• personal cares, based on the individualized care plans
• assistance with recreational/leisure activities
• Ordering of client client medications as needed
• Responds to client emergencies
• Reviews the medication administration records, documentation, and client care before end of shift
• Responsible for providing notification of change in condition to the supervisor or on-call supervisor and in the client electronic medical record
• Monitors and evaluates all aspects of the needs of each client and ensures quality care and services are provided and documented per CCLS guidelines
• Attendance at all client-related meetings.

FUNCTIONS-Staff Responsibilities

• Schedules all direct care staff for work shifts
• Fills unexpected vacancies with direct care staff or personally, including overnight stays
• Supports on-boarding of new employees including shadowing, training, and skills demonstration. Ensures staff complete in-house training, and retrain existing staff based on clients needs
• Schedules staff meetings monthly
• Provides support in staff orientation and setting a positive example during his/her shift

Successful applicants must posses a valid driver's license, have acceptable driving record, have access to a reliable vehicle during work hours and proof of insurance.

Successful applicants also must have acceptable pre-employment drug screening results.
