Job Description: As our Estimator, your role is to assist in the creation of accurate estimates and change orders for medium to large-scale remodeling projects. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Precise Estimation: Collaborate in calculating materials (costs, quantities, and allowances), labor (both in-house and subcontracted), and project timelines for remodeling and new construction ventures with meticulous attention to detail.

2. Timely Deliveries: Complete estimates and change orders promptly, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines set by our sales staff to maintain our exceptional sales ratio.

3. Software Proficiency: Utilize spreadsheet-based applications, web tools, and Microsoft Office proficiently. Learn and implement new software, including Job Tread, to enhance estimating efficiency.

4. Writing Proficiency: Concisely compose detailed scopes of work based on project plans and discussions with designers to ensure accurate project documentation.

5. Communication: Effectively communicate with subcontractors to solicit bids for various project tasks. Additionally, work closely with fellow team members to ensure seamless coordination and project execution.

6. Organization: Efficiently manage bid preparation for upcoming projects while also addressing change order needs for active and upcoming projects, ensuring all deadlines are met.
