Behavior Technician
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of client information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and behavioral health concepts
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Experience with data collection and behavioral therapy techniques is a plus
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
