Creating Pathways Pediatric Therapy is Hiring an Occupational Therapist OT Near Monmouth, OR

About Us:

This is a great opportunity to administer evaluations, re-evaluations, provide treatment and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA’s) in providing quality care for children and families for a very busy and fast paced pediatric outpatient clinic.

Creating Pathways Pediatric Therapy has been providing quality pediatric therapy to children in the Willamette Valley for 9 years! Recently recognized as one of the “Best in the Willamette Valley” in the specialty therapy category. We are a therapist owned company that is passionate about providing quality Speech and Occupational Therapy to children ages birth to 18 years along with a quality workplace environment.

Requirements:

  • Oregon Occupational Therapy License (Required)
  • Bachelors (required) or Master's (Preferred)
  • Healthcare BLS Certification
  • Feeding Experience (Preferred but not required)

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to efficiently and accurately complete a variety of standardized and non-standardized assessments for the pediatric population
  • Timely and efficient documentation with desire to provide quality, evidence-based clinical assessments.
  • Must be comfortable and well-spoken with talking with parents and providers including coordinating phone calls, answering questions, training on home program, and providing clinical expertise when triaging patient’s needs.
  • 2 years of pediatric experience desired but willing to mentor the right candidate.
  • Must have experience administering and scoring assessments including PDMS, BOT II, VMI, DTVP, PEDI, and Sensory Profile.
  • Must efficiently document clean, concise, and measurable goals for children on caseload.
  • Coordinate with COTAs when children require discharge, and complete timely and comprehensive discharge summaries.

Pay: $40.00-50.00 per hour
