Creamery @ Schaumburg Boomer's Baseball is Hiring a Site Supervisor Near Schaumburg, IL

Job description

The Creamery is a local ice cream & fast food restaurant with six locations in the south suburbs, and an active catering division with Satellite Locations across the region. We are currently looking to fill the Site Supervisor position at Boomer's Baseball for a seasonal role with a start date of May, 2024. A successful Site Supervisor will be offered full-time year round employment within our other locations if interested. (We will be opening another store in Elgin IL in late Spring, 2024)

Our restaurants have been a staple in the south suburbs for decades and we are aggressively growing to include additional locations, food trucks, a variety of catering packages and a more extensive dessert menu.

The successful Site Supervisor will lead, inspire and motivate team members to accomplish the Creamery mission through direct hands-on contact with company staff as well as daily contact with existing and potential customers.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently ordered and prepared according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection.
  • Completely understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service.
  • Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
  • Continually strive to develop your staff in all hospitality and/or culinary standards related to their position.
  • Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
  • Evaluate inventory needs based on the schedule of events and pre-orders.
  • Take ownership of your location by providing exceptional supervision and earn an opportunity for long term career development and growth across the Creamery Brands.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of fast serve or ice cream experience preferred as well as 1 year experience in a leadership capacity (i.e., trainer, shift leader).
  • Solid track record of success with demonstrated ability and initiative to take on additional responsibility.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient math skills, basic computer skills.
  • Must be comfortable on your feet for periods of time.
  • Must be able to work closing shifts, holidays and evenings as needed.
  • Work in an environment that is fast paced and noisy.
  • Make decisions based on an ever-changing environment regarding staff, events, catering, etc. Must be able to multi-task and communicate well with both staff and customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
