CRDF Global is seeking a Director of Employee Experience to oversee the organization’s learning and development and employee engagement functions. The Director will also refine and execute the organization’s DEI strategy. A successful candidate will be forward-looking, strategic, collaborative, innovative, and have a desire to lead a growing team in a dynamic environment.

This position may be based in our Arlington, Virginia or Amman, Jordan office.

Major Responsibilities:

• Lead organizational focus on staff development, including learning and development, performance management process, leadership development, and succession planning. The Director will ensure employees and managers are effectively using the Individual Development Plans for staff and organizational growth, and that the performance management process is standardized and effective across the organization
• Develop and lead the organization’s Learning and Development function, with an emphasis on building technical skills, developing a strong “bench” to support organizational growth, and retaining staff
• Recommend talent management and succession planning initiatives to increase the organization's human capital, accelerate development and retention of key talent, and achieve the organization’s strategic plan
• Lead execution of CRDF Global’s DEI strategy. Ensure we maintain a culture that fosters a sense of belonging and inclusion and is innovative, decisive, and execution focused. Lead the organization’s DEI Committee. Lead the development and improvement of all aspects of DEI metrics and dashboards for our potential and current workforce to ensure we make progress towards established DEI goals.
• In an expanding, international environment with the hybrid workforce, develop approaches to maintain and grow CRDF Global’s organizational culture focused on our core values. Establish metrics and develop strategies for continued improvement of employee engagement.
• Stay current on diversity programs and developments by maintaining contact with experts in the field. Remain current on emerging issues and trends in DEI work and make recommendations as opportunities arise.

Qualifications:

• 10 years-experience in Learning and Development or Organizational Development
• 8 years of management experience
• Bachelor’s degree required, relevant post-graduate degree or certifications a plus
• Experience building or growing talent functions
• Experience supporting functions in an international organization with globally dispersed staff
• Experience with DEI programs and integrating DEI efforts across all aspects of an organization
• Demonstrated experience with Learning Management Systems; experience with Deltek Learning a plus
• Excellent leadership, problem solving, analytical, and written and oral communication skills and the ability to lead a function in a matrixed environment
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
• Ability to travel internationally

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate Excel skills
• Relevant work authorization is required
