We are looking for a creative and client-oriented Design Manager to oversee all of our in-house design jobs and prepare them for our production team. This person must be skilled in administrative tasks and design software as well as have knowledge of industry regulations and best practices. Their time will be spent meeting with clients, creating drawings and layouts, and maintaining the paperwork required of their department. They must possess excellent technical and communication skills and have the creativity and proficiency to produce designs aligned with the CRC Builders brand.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design
• Gathering necessary measurements and dimensions to calculate layouts
• Produce buildable architectural plans and construction documents
• Ensure all layouts and blueprints are compliant with industry codes and legal standards
• Customer Service
• Meet with clients to discuss, review, and modify designs
• Provide recommendations based on budget, site, and industry trends
• Department Oversight
• Provide estimates on cost, time, and other specifications as needed
• Record, maintain, and report on all vital information and documentation
• Developing Contract Packages
• Selections Procurement
• Managing Consultants
• Oversee contracted Drafter(s)
• Liaise with Engineers, Title 24 consultants, and more

Benefits & Compensation:

• Salary: $60,000 - 80,000
• Vacation: 1 week 3 holidays paid

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and technical skills
• Customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in (or able to quickly become proficient in) Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Google Suites, and more
• Ability to effectively manage time and multitask
• Strong attention to detail
• Mathematical proficiency
• Professionalism in manner and attire
• High School diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree a plus)
• Professional references available
• Willingness to work weekends and extended hours as necessary to meet production milestones
