ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to:

• Motivates and leads Store team to be results oriented, maximize sales, identify opportunities, and establish creative solutions.
• Create a customer service culture by observing and collaborating on action plans.
• Analyze sales and create action plans to drive continuous improvement and sales growth.
• Manage overall retail standards, retail operational procedures, and company policy within store and support other managers in the area.
• Support district with staffing and training efforts.
• Provide training support for stores within local area as needed.
• Hire, coach, train and develop sales team.
• Support as trainer for new Retail Sales Managers.
• Support DM with store visits within District as necessary.
• Provide continuous and on-going training and development for current team, and support other store teams as needed and required, including supporting with CSU and MTP programs as needed.
• Follow-up on all deadlines and ensure 100% participation and execution of all assignments/tasks.
• Responsible for continual process improvement and development through metrics analytics performance measurements and staying current with best-in-class industry standards.
• Ability to use good judgment and make decisions. Handles employee concerns, complaints, or grievances by partnering with Human Resources to determine resolutions, or if applicable, disciplinary or corrective actions (including termination decisions).
• Work as a team with Merchandising, Shipping, Inventory Control, Visual Merchandising, and other designated departments to maximize sales.
• Plan and execute merchandising and visual directives and maintain standards. Support other stores to execute standards as needed.
• Support district as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of retail management experience.
• Flexible schedule: able to work as needed to support the business. May require long hours and non-traditional hours that are outside of normal business hours.
• Valid drivers license required to travel to other stores in district as needed.
• PC experience required including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Microsoft Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and moving items up to 45lbs.
