Crazy Axes is a Family-Owned small business since 2019. We started out as a mobile outfit after a weekend trip to Canada introduced us to the fun of Axe Throwing. Soon we were building out our Hanover location and we are constantly listening and looking for ways to improve and make axe throwing more fun! We have now opened our new facility in Patriot Place which includes a bar and kitchen making us an all in one location for food, drinks, and activities.
As a Crazy Axes Team Member, you will be primarily responsible for providing exceptional axe throwing coaching and assistance to our customers. In addition, you will also act as a server for the lanes, ensuring that customers have an enjoyable experience. As needed, you will provide coverage for the front desk, handling customer inquiries and reservations while the front desk is on break or unavailable.
Responsibilities:
o Provide expert guidance and instruction on axe throwing techniques, ensuring customer safety and enjoyment.
o Demonstrate proper form, techniques, and safety procedures during axe throwing sessions.
o Monitor customers during their sessions, offering assistance, tips, and encouragement as needed.
o Conduct safety briefings and enforce facility rules to maintain a safe environment.
o Assist with the setup, maintenance, and cleaning of the axe throwing area.
o Take food and drink orders from customers in the axe throwing area, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
o Prepare and serve food and drinks promptly, following established recipes and presentation standards.
o Provide exceptional customer service, attending to customer needs and ensuring satisfaction.
o Handle cash transactions and process credit card payments accurately.
o Assist with general cleaning and restocking of the bar and dining areas within the axe throwing area.
Requirements:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear and effective instructions.
2. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions.
4. Flexibility to alternate between coaching, serving, and front desk duties as needed.
5. Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced and high-pressure situations.
6. Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
