Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Madison, IW
Salary: $110,000-$130,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee the expansion and remodeling of our client's facilities. They are a leading senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to seniors in Wisconsin. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from initial planning and budgeting, bidding, to final completion and inspection. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen attention to detail to ensure the successful execution of the project within the specified timeline and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Contract Management: Coordinate with contractors to ensure adherence to specifications and safety standards.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Schedule Management: Create and maintain project schedules, addressing delays.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
  • Permitting and Compliance: Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams to achieve goals.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Experience managing projects up to $10-15 million.
  • Construction/Project Management experience in healthcare facilities highly preferred.
  • CAD experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction management.
