Plumbing Apprentice

Reports directly to whom: Plumbing Manager

Directly Supervises Whom/What: Running Plumbing Calls

Role: To represent Crawford Services to our customers in a way that fulfills our Mission Statement and exhibits our Core Values. To be a motivated learner and have a teachable attitude in everything.

Tasks and Duties:

• Arrive at calls at set appointment times
• Assist Plumbers in performing repairs
• Maintain personal appearance
• Assist with running plumbing calls (maintenance, service, sales, and install)
• Involve plumbing manager in creating sales lead quotes
• Assist with installing and complete jobs awarded to Crawford Services
• Email green sheets (time cards) and ticket to Dispatcher

Job Requirements:

• Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work overtime if needed.
• Motivated to Learn
• Good phone and customer communication skills
• Excellent customer service principles and practices.
• Must have valid and current driver's license
• Able to successfully pass a background and drug test
• Must have and maintain current apprentice license
• Maintains Company Core Values: Honest, Respectful, Knowledgeable, Client-Focused, Efficient, and Profitable

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to see well enough to read reports, data, statistics, and information on a computer screen.
• Must be able to hear well enough to communicate on the telephone and in person.
• Must able to use your fingers for grasping, feeling, and be able to operate a computer and calculator
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift up to 80 pounds and reach. May be required to do limited carrying, lifting, pulling and pushing.
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and be able to crawl on hands and knees for at least 30 feet.
