Job Description: The Crawford County R-II School District is seeking to hire a MS Grade Math Instructor at Cuba Middle School for the 2024-25 School year.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- To create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
- To establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom.
- To motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child, every day.
- Provides positive feedback and encouragement for students.
- Facilitates environment that promotes improved oral and written English skills, academic success, social growth, and well-being of all students.
- Organizes and uses a variety of teaching techniques, strategies, materials, and technology to maximize the learning of each child, individually and in group settings.
- Assesses student progress, provides students and parents with specific feedback, and uses the results to adjust instruction as needed; serves as a communication link between school and home.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervising administrators.
- Crawford County R-2 will operate on a 4-day schedule.
- 7th Grade Math
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in major area of study
- Certification: Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate in 5-9 Math
- Effective oral and written communication skills
