Crawford County Mental Health Center is currently seeking to hire a qualified full-time Mental Health Support Worker to work with school aged children. This position provides support services to children who are severely emotionally disturbed, providing services in the home, in the community, and in school settings.

Candidates should have a strong sense of mission and purpose. Will require supporting the children in the community, school setting, and regularly engage with the teachers. Will require to regularly meet with Case Manager about carrying out the treatment plan in home and community settings.

Position hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am -6 pm.

The successful candidate:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete required training through the center.
• Must have strong organizational skills along with effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
• Submit to background checks.
• Must have a current driver’s license.
• Extensive knowledge of community services.

Salary and benefits package starting at $30,000. Benefits package includes participation in KPERS Retirement System, health, dental, and life insurance.
