Founded in 1973, the Crawford County Drug & Alcohol Executive Commission is a private, nonprofit organization with a family-oriented work environment that is looking for a caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable Case Manager to join or team!
Duties include:
· Utilization review for SCA-funded clients. Work closely with treatment providers, care managers, and fiscal department to review documentation and adjust funding streams when needed.
· Monitor client’s progress in treatment and perform continued stay reviews based on DDAP criteria.
· Prepare funding authorizations and submit to administration for approval.
· Provide client advocacy when appropriate.
· Conduct client follow-up at regular intervals.
· Maintain data entries (experience in PA WITS is a plus) and monitor referrals from outside agencies.
· Assessment, placement, and eligibility determination for treatment and funding, as well as engagement with individuals and assisting them with meeting any ancillary needs within the community. Applicants should be familiar with the ASAM and DSM V.
Requirements:
· A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Dependency, Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Nursing or related field will be considered. A Master’s Degree is preferred. Those individuals with at least one year experience in a drug and alcohol setting are strongly encouraged to apply. We will consider hiring at Trainee-level position for the right candidate.
This is highly skilled work requiring independent judgment and organizational skills. Some evening work may be required. Must have basic computer skills. Access to a motor vehicle with appropriate insurance is required. Act 33, 34, and 114 clearances are required. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
