Overview:
Seeking hardworking individuals to join our construction team. Qualified individuals will play a crucial part in completing many construction related tasks. At times this position can be physically demanding. It requires constant attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a relaxed, but dedicated, environment.
Duties:
- Assist with setup/cleanup of construction sites
- Load/unload materials and equipment
- Operate hand/power tools efficiently without direct supervision
- Perform carpentry tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and installing materials
- Digging of a trench/hole from time-to-time
- Ability to paint interior/exterior structures
- Ability to use ladders/scaffolds without fear
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with project manager to complete projects efficiently and in a timely manner
- Lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks at times
- Knowledge, and operation, of a measuring square and tape
Qualifications:
- Previous construction experience
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to learn new skills
