Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality cookies. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will ensure that our customers receive delicious and visually appealing products.

Duties:

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, following recipes and quality standards

- Decorate cookies with precision and creativity

- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain freshness and prevent contamination

- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to achieve optimal results

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and utensils

- Assist with inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and placing orders as needed

- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, taking special orders, and offering product recommendations

Helpful Qualifications To Stand Out As A Potential Hire:

- Previous experience in the food industry, specifically in baking or cookie production

- Knowledge of baking techniques, including mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking

- Familiarity with cookie decorating techniques

- Strong attention to detail to ensure consistent product quality

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines

- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and practices

- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time
