We are actively recruiting for a Legal Recruiting Coordinator – Summer Program to work directly with the Legal Recruiting team and Hiring Partners to support all aspects of the Firm's summer associate program. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates multiple components of the Firm’s legal talent recruiting efforts with a focus on the Firm’s summer associate program;
  • Executes all aspects of summer associate rotations to London, including liaising with internal departments on any related needs;
  • Coordinates summer associates’ onboarding and integration including assignments, advisor program, events and exit interviews;
  • Works closely with internal teams to coordinate and execute summer program events;
  • Interfaces regularly with law school students, firm attorneys and professional staff;
  • Liaises with internal departments to ensures financial aspects of the summer program are executed effectively, including expense approvals and reimbursements;
  • Handles summer associate evaluation processes and department rotations;
  • Coordinates all aspects of summer associates’ departure processes;
  • Assists with the recruitment of and training for the junior members of Legal Recruiting team;
  • Prepares and distributes offer letters, maintains accurate documentation of departmental processes and procedures and summer associate records;
  • Coordinates offer follow-up efforts;
  • Fields policy questions and resolves sensitive issues with superior judgment; and
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Ideally 5 or more years of applicable experience in a service industry firm;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to successfully work and interact with attorneys at all levels;
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and competing deadlines;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn, use and drive developments of various homegrown legal talent and recruiting applications;
  • Superior judgment and ability to deal discreetly with confidential information; and
  • Ability to work additional hours, as needed.

This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The hours for this position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The estimated salary range for a Legal Recruiting Coordinator is $90,000 to $110,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and discretionary bonus(es), we offer a generous employee benefits package including, but not limited to, paid time off, medical, dental, vision care, 401(k) and substantial health club discounts.
