Position:
* Legal Assistant/Secretary

* Part time (20 to 30 hrs. per week) or Full time

Qualifications and Skills:

1. 3 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant.

2. Experience in preparing pleadings for e-filing with courts.

3. Will assist with time entries and billings for the firm.

4. Have proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.

5. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

6. Self-motivated and ability to work with a team of lawyers.

Sample Duties:
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as contracts, briefs, and pleadings
- Assist with document review and management
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic files
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Provide administrative support, including photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents
- Assist with time entries, invoices and related billings
