Medicaid Coordinator
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- File Medicaid applications in a timely fashion and work with families and or residents to get necessary paperwork for Medicaid compliance, as well as other Admission/Finance related work.
- Must have knowledge of MCD certs and recerts.
- Coordinate with Admissions, Social Workers, and Business Office to educate residents/families about the availability of Medicaid benefits.
- Obtain authorization to represent and initiate the application process.
- Maintain continuous communication with the Department of Social Service and fulfill their requests for required documents (including but not limited to the 3559 form)
- Maintain HIPAA privacy, security, and confidentiality standard.
QUALIFICATIONS: •
- Must have at least two (2) years of previous Medicaid Coordinator experience
- Must have Long Term Care experience.
- Must have experience in the admissions process with knowledge of NJ Medicaid
- Computer experience (Point Click Care, Word, Excel..)
