About Us
CraneWorks is an operated crane rental and equipment rental company headquartered in Birmingham, AL, with additional locations in Mobile, AL, Decatur, AL, and Nashville, TN. We provide operated cranes from 15 tons to 500 tons, and offer services in crane lifts, rigging, machinery moving and storage. We can provide the crane, rigging and certified operator/rigger. Our equipment rental division maintains a large rental fleet, including bare rent cranes and boom trucks, warehouse and reach forklifts, aerial lifts, dirt equipment and other specialized rental equipment. We have over 30 years’ experience in the operated and bare rental market place.
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Safety Specialist to help the safety team minimize the risk of job-related accidents, monitor operations, promote safety awareness, eliminate unsafe activities, and ensure detailed documentation is kept. The individual must become well-versed in all OSHA and DOT policies, have a keen eye for detail, focus on prevention, and help to support the Safety Team in the creation of a healthy and safe workplace. This position requires a person with a high attention to detail and a sense of urgency.

Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an office environment, equipment shop environment, or job site. Noise, fumes, and chemicals associated with a shop environment is expected. Frequently walking on uneven surfaces, including natural ground in varying weather conditions is associated with this position. Must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely. The ability to drive at night is required.
