Essential Job Functions

• Design and implement network technologies to include Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto and Azure/AWS Cloud environment.
• Advanced understanding of wide area network concepts such as site-to-site/policy-based/route-based IPsec VPNs, and multi-data center and cloud environments
• Level 3 support for global regional teams supporting and maintaining all network environments.
• Major Role of the Network and Systems group, supporting high profile projects with executive leadership and business visibility
• Collaborate with other IT infrastructure peers to find solutions to complex networking issues.
• Propose design improvements and making recommendations and implementations to achieve best practices.
• Interact with internal clients to resolve issues; communicate with internal clients in a professional manner maintaining discretion.
• Provide support to Systems, Telecom and Support teams when escalated.
• Develop and mentor peers.
• Assist with the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
• Coordinate with 3rd party support on complex infrastructure issues and serve as incident owner through full incident lifecycle including reporting, researching, resolution, RCA, and lessons learned.
• Candidate must be accustomed to pre-building test and POC configurations in a lab environment.
• Available for on-call rotation

Other Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of all aspects of design and implementation of corporate networking and systems infrastructure, including SDWAN, VPN, network connectivity, Internet access, email, servers, etc.
• Demonstrated proficiency with VPN technology from multiple vendors, experience with Fortinet is a requirement.
• Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.
• Troubleshoot advanced network routing issues, WAN, LAN, VPN, Azure/AWS cloud environments.
• Produce and maintain excellent documentation.
• Good communication oral and written skills
• Capacity planning
• Agile project management and operational practice

Physical Requirements

• Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate computer equipment.
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
• Lifting and moving Network Equipment

Education & Experience

• 7 years' experience in related IT infrastructure
• Experience with Fortinet product portfolio beyond just the FortiGate firewall including Secure SDWAN, Forti-Manager, FortiClient, Forti-NAC, etc.
• Palo Alto Firewall experience is a plus.
• Understanding of VDOM architecture in Fortinet firewalls
• Fortinet NSE7 Certification preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• Professional certification a plus.
