Our product line in West Caldwell, NJ includes power management products and sophisticated electronic radio frequency components and subsystems. As a total solution enterprise, we offer our customers electronic manufacturing services, engineering support services, product development, and production service sets. Our products are found in the most complex commercial and defense applications.
We have an opening for a Production Supervisor I for our West Caldwell, NJ facility.
Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities are typical of what this position may be required to perform, however they are not all inclusive.
Manages a group of operators from different areas on the floor.
Manages resources and time to achieve goals.
Provides reporting of the area performance on all metrics.
Maintain equipment according to manufacturing and engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronics, using hand and power tools.
Perform RF electrical and mechanical assembly to the provided procedures or build documentation using the appropriate tools and equipment.
Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning equipment, using hand tools.
Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts.
Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.
Provide user applications and engineering support and recommendations for new and existing equipment with regard to installation, upgrade and enhancement.
Performs other duties as required by business needs.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years of related experience required.
Production assembly experience a plus.
This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the production of various goods.
Knowledge of assembly chemicals preferred.
Good verbal and written communication.
Plating and soldering experience a plus.
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
