Job Summary

Crain Veterinary Center, a small animal practice east of Kansas City, is looking to hire a FULL-TIME Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a busy 4 doctor practice and are looking for a hard-working, dependable individual to join our team as a technician for a full time position! We pride ourselves on our ability to provide the best veterinary care and customer service possible to our clients and patients. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-6pm with an hour lunch break, and Saturdays 8am-4:30pm. You will have one day off during the week as well as one Saturday off per month. All other Saturdays are mandatory for the job.

Pay will depend on experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties include, but not limited to:

-Assisting doctors where needed, Blood draws, IV Cath placement, administering medication, taking radiographs, dental cleanings, general care taking/nursing of animals, etc.

Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience is required. Must be able to work in a timely manner and be self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
