Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Craig Technologies considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Description:
As an experienced Survivability Engineer, you will support the Systems Engineering (SE) Special Disciplines Organization for the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) within one or more of the following areas:
• Applying electrical, electronics, and physics theories to execute various tasks related to the Survivability field
• Ensuring that space vehicle and missile designs, from the component level to the system level, will meet system requirements during and after exposure to natural and manmade space
• Conducting technical planning, specification requirements derivation, modeling and simulation, design, test planning and execution, documentation, requirements verification/validation to support overall systems needs and act as a technical consultant for subcontractors and IPTs
• Will participate in enterprise Survivability core group activities and will be partnered with other authorities
• Understanding of Natural Space Radiation environments and Engineering

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Device Physics, or a related subject area
• Experience in Electrical Engineering or radiation simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, PSPICE, MCNP, etc.)
• Experience in Test laboratory environments and associated test subject areas and test equipment (e.g., data acquisition, oscilloscopes, analyzers, and/or signal generators)
•
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, therefore U.S. Citizenship is requiredDesired Skills:
• Understanding of electronic, electrical, electromechanical and electro-optical (EEEE) components
• Basic understanding of Natural Space, Nuclear/Manmade Radiation environments or design hardness.
• Work and collaborate with peers and senior specialists from within and outside the group
• Organized and able to effectively multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Proven behaviors of a thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
• Active DoD Secret Clearance

Work Schedules: Craig Technologies supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
