Craig Bradford Associates is Hiring a Purchaser Near King of Prussia, PA

Comp : $50K-$60K

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual (full time) to serve as a Purchaser to handle all purchasing responsibilities generated by the various foreman, project managers, service, and water management team.

As a key member of the construction and service team, the successful candidate will be responsible for purchase order generation, substitutions, replacements, tracking, delivery times, inventory control and authorization of payment for goods and services.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and possess solid computer skills in Excel.

Familiarity with commonly used pool building construction and service materials, components, equipment, and supplies is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ordering all equipment and materials for construction jobs

Schedule all orders for timely delivery

Track all orders

Communicate all order issues to the construction team.

Maintain and update order logs.

Manages and coordinates all RGA’s and follow up for vendor credits.

Works with ERP program Sage to set up new vendors and subcontractors.

Monitor and reorder stock inventory.

Skills and Qualifications

Previous purchasing / ordering experience (Construction or pool industry a plus)

Experience using Sage 100, QuickBooks, or other ERP programs.

Ability to communicate effectively orally, in writing, in person and by phone.

Proficient skill with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.
