About our Company

Craftwork uses technology to simplify repair and renovation projects for homeowners. With Craftwork, homeowners will get an instant quote for whatever they need painted simply by answering a few questions and using the camera on their phone to measure the surface area of the space. They will then make a deposit and schedule their project for a time that works for them, all without ever needing to speak with another human.

What You’ll Do:

• Be a main point-of-contact for all prep work required for the assignment
• Apply paint to the areas of the assignment by using the tools provided
• Receive instruction from the Supervisor on the job site
• Support training initiatives
• Support quality control inspections of services
• Operate a variety of machines including spray guns, air compressors, pressure washers, texture machines, sand blasters, disk sanders and taping machines
• Apply paint, stains, varnishes, lacquers and other protective and decorative coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Prepare new and previously painted surfaces for painting, staining, varnishing and finishing by water blasting, stripping, sanding, patching, puttying, priming and cleaning.
• Mix paint and match colors; clean brushes and other tools and materials.
• Perform related duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• 2-5 years of painting experience required
• At least 1 year of painting industry experience required
• A passion for painting
• Committed to excellent customer service and accuracy, for both the company & its customers
• Quality minded focus, ability to complete jobs right, the first time
• Someone who is comfortable with technology
• Gritty, go-getter attitude
• Bilingual preferred

Job Schedule and basic requirements

• Must be available Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, with some evenings and weekend work required
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Must have reliable communication methods (i.e. access to a cell phone during the workday and email after-hours)
• Must be a US citizen, unfortunately we’re currently not sponsoring visas for our roles

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
• Comfortable with heights and climbing ladders
• Ability to work around paint fumes for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds of work equipment
• Comfortable wearing PPE when necessary (i.e. face-masks)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
