The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for athletics and our other extracurricular activities, strong organizational skills, and a proven track record of successful collaboration with colleagues. Craftsbury Schools expanded this position to a year-round, 0.80 FTE position and offers a flexible work schedule. Nights and weekends will be required based on game/tournament schedules. Previous experience with school sports is preferred but candidates with experience organizing other sports clubs/leagues will be considered. The Athletic and Activities Director provides leadership and direction for all athletic and extracurricular programs to provide each eligible student the opportunity to participate in athletic and extracurricular activities that will foster enrichment, enjoyment, physical skills, a sense of worth and competence, knowledge and understanding of the pleasures of the sport or activity and the principles of fair play as outlined under the school’s mission statement. This is a year-round position with great benefits that offers a flexible schedule to work around busy sports seasons.
