Job Summary
The award-winning Craddock Terry Hotel, a high-end boutique hotel in Downtown Lynchburg, is looking to add a dynamic Housekeeping Lead to the team. Scope
Supervises the housekeeping staff and inspects rooms and public space for service and quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction as the relief for the Guest Services Manager. Includes ensuring the quality standards of the cleanliness of Guest Rooms and Public Spaces. This is a full-time position.

Since cleaning and inspecting is the major responsibility of this position, the Housekeeping Lead spends a significant portion of their workday involved with the following: unlocking, opening, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending and stretching.
A significant amount of time is spent listening and speaking since the position is responsible for reporting problems to the Guest Services Manager and assisting in training room attendants.
Housekeeping Lead moves about to inspect the cleanliness of the property (guest rooms and public areas) and this is accomplished by walking.
In addition to operating a vacuum cleaner, Housekeeping Lead typically lift and pull items weighing as much as 25 pounds.
Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are used some of the time.
The person in this position has opportunities to utilize reasoning, training and problem solving abilities.
