Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their drink orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Upsell and promote drink specials and menu items
- Process payments and operate cash register
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
Skills:
- Sales skills to upsell and promote drink specials
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and transactions
- Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment
- Proficiency in operating a cash register
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes
- Ability to provide excellent hospitality and customer service
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating tabs
- Cash handling skills for processing payments
