CR Ranch, Inc. is Hiring an Animal Caretaker Near Modesto, CA
CR Ranch Pet-O-Tel in Modesto, CA is looking for Full Time, entree level animal caretakers to join our team, 35 hours per week. We are located on 6060 American Ave. Modesto. Our ideal candidate has a background working with animals, is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged, we are a 7 day a week business and are able to work with college school schedules. Working Weekends and Holidays are a requirement to this position.
Responsibilities
- Care for the physical and mental well being of boarding and daycare animals
- Provide a high standard of care regarding exercise, nutrition and maintaining clean living conditions for all animals under our care.
- Light grooming of animals
- Must have attention to details regarding specific instructions for the care of each animal.
- Verbal and written communication and charting for animals health
- Greet customers and make them and their animals feel at home
- Answer any questions the customers may have and provide suggestions as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all animals and colleagues
- Provide a positive and safe environment
Qualifications
- Comfortable working with animals, mostly dogs and cats
- Must be able to walk 100 pound dogs and lift 50 pounds
- Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
- Highly adaptable to various situations and clientele needs
- Must be relabel, and on time for shifts
- Consistently supervise animals during various activities
- Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
- Relevant training and certifications desired but not mandatory
