PRIVATE PARTY. Responsibilities include housekeeping, laundry, organization, pet care and meal preparation. Part Time. Flexible Hours.
I am a senior who suffers severe emphysema. Accordingly, I find it difficult to bend and cannot lift heavy objects. Ordinarily one might think this position should be listed as "Housekeeper/Caregiver".
However, applicants for that listing typically work in an "assisted living" or Alzheimer environment and are experienced addressing "the activities of daily living" (ie. bathing, dressing, toileting, etc) which are not pertinent to this opportunity. The rationale of the listing title is that it is wide enough to attract the talents I seek and narrow enough to exclude applicants who address experience that is not relevent. Essentially, I am seeking a Personal Assistant.
