Director, Data Quality & Governance - Full Time (US citizenship)

Position Overview:

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Data Quality & Governance to lead our data management efforts. This pivotal role involves overseeing our data quality and governance program to ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data governance and quality strategies in alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the data quality and governance department, including staff management and process improvements.
• Conduct data quality assessments to identify issues and implement improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors supporting data governance and quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, particularly regarding data privacy and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer information systems, Business Data Analytics, or related field; master s degree preferred.
• 5 years of management experience in data collection, management, or governance programs.
• Proficiency in modern data stack architecture and complex SQL.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in hiring, training, and coaching.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with legal, compliance, and IT teams.
• S. Citizenship and eligibility for Department of Defense clearance.
