Pharmacy Technician- Per Diem

As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician at Cedar Hills Hospital, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. 

Schedule: This per diem, nonexempt position will work weekends, with a guarantee of two weekends per month, and also cover as needed on weekdays to cover PTO for the full time pharmacy technician. 

About the Facility: Cedar Hills Hospital is a Joint Commission accredited, 98-bed hospital that serves the Pacific Northwest region and surrounding areas. Services include inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for mental health and substance abuse treatment for adults, 18 and older. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am-7:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am-2:00pm. The Pharmacy is centralized and utilizes HCS and Omnicell.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
• At least six months (beyond the externship) current or recent employment as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or retail setting
• Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements (may be required): 

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination) 
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1^st-April 30^th
• COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
