CPS Recruitment is Hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer / 59816 Near East Syracuse, NY
We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to work for an established Manufacturer East of Syracuse, NY.
This is a 1 year contract assignment.
Key duties will include:
- Outline and document production tooling and equipment requirements.
- Create methods, processes, and cost estimates to optimize manufacturing productivity.
- Design testing activities to evaluate tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Reduce cost, improve quality, and improve efficiency.
- Facilitate new product launch activities, by creating goals and timetables, training. manufacturing personnel, and evaluating results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial).
- 3 years of experience within Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods and processes (flow, layout, and equipment).
- Lean manufacturing tools.
