CPR-LA is Hiring a Program Manager-Educational Support Services Near Culver, CA

Job Summary:

The Program Manager provides oversight and mentoring to the Educational Support Services (ESS) team. In collaboration with CPR-LA’s executive management team, the Program Manager will play a key role in overall quality of CPR-LA’s service delivery and contractual responsibilities with our stakeholders. The Program Manager shall use managerial discretion and independent judgment in the course of his/her duties.

Duties:

● Oversees and manages the ESS program staff, to include: program growth, development, and exploring innovative methods to expand intervention knowledge and understanding within the position’s direct reports.

● Collaborates and fosters a strong partnership with contracted agencies, clients, and circles of support to ensure patient satisfaction and high quality care.

● Plan, manage and evaluate staff efforts to achieve program objectives.

● Develop training curriculum, coaching, and overall supervision of program staff.

● Participate in interviews or the selection process of prospective recruits; assist with on-boarding and off-boarding process.

● Manage and monitor performance of service delivery team members. This includes reviewing documentation completed by program staff (case notes, assessments, quarterly reports, etc.).

● Is available to support the program staff and address questions, concerns, and lead debrief efforts as needed.

● Assist in the training of new CPR-LA staff and monitor their progress as part of the quality of service function.

● Work in collaboration with CPR-LA management to provide training or identify other training resources for program staff as needed, across all CPR-LA programs.

● Interface with stakeholders, including but not limited to, Regional Center Service Coordinators and administrators, clients, families, school teachers and administrators, consultants, attorneys, and other relevant members of client’s interdisciplinary team.

● Review client record and provide guidance and support to program staff.

● Coordinate the caseload distribution and ensure intakes are conducted within the prescribed timelines.

● Provide training for program staff on the intake and assessment process, meeting and communicating with client and client’s family/primary caregiver and circle of support, and collaboration with Service Coordinator and CPR-LA personnel.

● Mentor and provide support to program staff by meeting on a regular basis to discuss clients, caseload, completion of necessary paperwork/documents (i.e. Case Notes, Assessments, Quarterly Reports), discuss case status, and any barriers to progress.

● Facilitate Case Reviews.

● Provide case conferencing as needed with program staff and administrative team members as needed.

● Attend and participate in meetings with community partners (such as Regional Center staff and administrators, school staff and administrators, attorneys, therapists, etc.).

● Lead the development of curriculum to provide training to program staff on strategies, methods, and approaches aimed at increasing knowledge, ability to advocate, and locate relevant resources for client’s benefit.

● Lead the development and implementation of curriculum to provide training and educational material to clients and their circle of support on strategies aimed at improving knowledge, the educational opportunities, services, and accommodations in the classroom/school setting.

● Implement positive programming strategies and engage in relevant training as needed.

● Present a high degree of professionalism and the ability to work effectively and in a collaborative manner with clients, professional agencies, and program staff.

● Participate CPR-LA activities and events.

● Support CPR-LA mission, values, vision, and philosophy.

● All other duties as assigned by your Supervisor.

Requirements:

MUST have: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution in psychology, counseling, social work, special education, behavioral science or related field. Five years of experience working with persons with disabilities and/or special education. Two years of supervisory experience. Experience as an educational advocate, educational liaison, educational consultant, etc., is strongly preferred.

Pay: $54,098.00 - $65,000.00 per year
