JOB SUMMARY
Prepare ceramic molds for casting paying attention to efficiency and to quality.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Read PEI/MWI for instructions.
• Lift ceramic molds. (50lbs max)
• Inspect molds for any defects.
• Clean molds with air and water.
• Dye-check molds for defects.
• Apply patch materials to molds and shell splits.
• Apply refractory materials per PEI.
• Diligent with data entry.
• Cut Fiberfrax patterns for molds.
• Weigh molds to ensure they conform to PEI.
• Document work in Oracle to report quality and move transaction.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be required upon business needs and at the request of CPP Corporation management.

QUALIFICATIONS
 

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Experience: No prior experience required
• Certifications/Licenses: N/A
• Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Read. Write legibly. Basic computer skills. Quality conscious. Safety conscious. Detailed oriented. Sense of urgency.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
 

• Shop Floor: Can be dusty.
• Required PPE: Check for required PPE in areas you may be working in
• Safety Glasses: Needed in all areas of the plant.
• Steel toe shoes: Needed in all areas of the plant.
