CPM Constructors is Hiring a Certified Crane Operator Near Freeport, ME

***$3,000 Retention Bonus for Certified Crane Operators***

CPM Constructors currently has open positions for Certified Crane Operators operating on heavy construction projects throughout Maine. Certified Crane Operators start at $30-34/hour, depending upon experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Safely operate various types of cranes including: hydraulic rough terrain, lattice boom crawler, and boom trucks,
  • Read and interpret load charts and operator’s manual,
  • Maintain daily equipment documentation log,
  • Perform inspections, conduct routine maintenance, and maintain equipment cleanliness, and
  • Assist in tasks around the job site during slow periods,

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience in lattice boom friction cranes,
  • Must have current NCCCO certifications,
  • Possess knowledge of the effective operation of cranes,
  • Demonstrate skill in the operation of heavy construction equipment,
  • Pass a physical and drug test, and
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain additional licenses as required for the job.

Applicants must have reliable transportation to the work sites and must be willing to work full days as well as nights and weekends as required. If you feel you

The retention bonus is paid in the following manner: If you are hired and stay employed with us for 60 days you will receive $1,500 and if you stay employed with us for 120 days, we will pay you an additional $1,500 retention bonus!
