Job Title : Warehouse Supervisor - (5 days on-site Madison, CT)

Summary of Position :

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for

overseeing all aspects of shipping and receiving operations within the warehouse

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse software, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

This includes :

• Managing international and domestic shipping processes
• Supervising warehouse staff
• Ensuring proficiency in ERP systems
• Maintaining inventory accuracy
• Overseeing basic building and grounds maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Lead and supervise warehouse staff in all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
• Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transfer materials and products.
• Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
• Utilize ERP system for receipt of goods, shipping data entry, inventory transfers, and other related tasks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts to identify discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Complete all paperwork related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including basic building and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Service, and Operations to meet customer requirements and support business objectives.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work processes to optimize efficiency and productivity in the warehouse.

Qualifications and Education Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in shipping / receiving warehouse operations , with supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in international and domestic shipping processes and regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems for inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse software.
• Forklift operation certification and training.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail in all tasks.
