Job Description

The Training and Outreach Specialist is a dynamic professional responsible for promoting Leadership education and career development within the fields of Architecture, Engineering, and Design . This multifaceted role involves curriculum facilitation, examination coordination, and internship management. The specialist collaborates with educational institutions, youth organizations, and external firms to create impactful learning experiences for young individuals interested in these disciplines.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Facilitation:

  • Develop and deliver engaging training sessions covering Leadership, Architecture, Engineering, and Design concepts.
  • Implement the design thinking process to foster creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Customize curriculum content to suit diverse audiences, including in-school and out-of-school youth.
Examinations and Assessments:
  • Organize and administer examinations to evaluate participants’ understanding of the curriculum.
  • Certify participants in relevant areas, such as REVIT proficiency.
  • Collaborate with educators and industry experts to ensure rigorous assessments.
Outreach and Engagement:
  • Establish partnerships with schools, community centers, and youth programs.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and events to raise awareness about careers in Architecture, Engineering, and Design.
  • Advocate for diversity and inclusion within the field by reaching out to underrepresented groups.
Internship Coordination:
  • Collaborate with external Architecture, Engineering, and Design firms to create internship opportunities.
  • Match qualified students with relevant internships based on their interests and skills.
  • Monitor intern progress, provide mentorship, and ensure a positive experience.
Program Evaluation and Enhancement:
  • Gather feedback from participants, educators, and industry partners.
  • Continuously assess program effectiveness and make necessary improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Architecture , Engineering , Design , or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in curriculum development, training, or education.
  • Proficiency in articulating complex architecture, engineering, and design concepts.
  • Familiarity with REVIT certification processes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
