A reputable construction contractor in Santa Clara County is currently seeking a qualified and highly motivated candidate to fill the position of Bookkeeper, Payroll Specialist.
Responsibilities:
-Provide support to the human resources and payroll department including tasks such as:

-Help with day to day activities such as picking up documents and materials, ordering materials, and filing documents
Qualifications:
-High school diploma and two years of college required.
-Minimum of two years of professional experience with at least one in a construction company required.
-Familiarity with payroll taxes, prevailing wage, union dues and fringe benefits required
-Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment and prioritize under pressure.
-Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Must be knowledgeable in computer usage and software such as Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
-Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
-Experience with Quickbooks is essetial, and knowledge of a payroll management software is a plus.
