As a Press Helper in our printing company, you will play a vital role in supporting the operation of printing presses. Working closely with press operators and other team members, you'll ensure efficient and smooth printing processes, contributing to the timely delivery of high-quality printed materials.

Duties/Responsibilities:·

• Help press operators in setting up, operating, and maintaining printing presses. This includes loading/unloading materials, adjusting controls, and monitoring output.
• Handle various materials used in the printing process, such as paper stock, ink, and plates.
• Check to make sure materials are staged for the next jobs.
• Assist in monitoring print quality throughout production runs. Identify and report any issues with print consistency, color accuracy, or equipment malfunction to the appropriate personnel.
• Participate in routine maintenance tasks and cleaning of printing equipment and work areas. This involves following safety protocols and procedures to keep machinery in optimal condition.
• Maintain inventory levels of printing supplies and consumables, including blanket wash alcohol, MRC cleaner, wash-up bottles, folded rags, sponge bucket, pallets, recycled paper containers, MAKE SURE NEXT SHIFT HAS PAPER, INK, SUPPLIES FOR AT LEAST 2-3 HOURS
• Notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished and assist in receiving and storing new inventory.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. This includes wearing appropriate protective gear, operating equipment safely, and participating in safety training programs.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the production team to achieve production goals and meet project deadlines. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks and address any issues that may arise.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a printing or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of printing processes and equipment operation.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.

Additional Information:

· This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime as needed.

· Shift work may be required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
