Working on a small Agile/Scrum development team, you will play a key part in helping Coyote continue to scale as well as re-imagining and reinventing the transportation industry via the technology we produce Essential Functions: Working on a development team to create technical solutions that meet business needs Contributing to the architectural decisions and implementation of the software for which your team is responsible Contributing to all aspects of software that is integrated into the success of Coyote’s business strategy Submitting and conducting code reviews Supporting software through its full lifecycle Mentoring and coaching other developers through their daily tasks of design, coding, and testing approaches Taking the lead on more complex/open ended problems Participating in planning, estimation of and negotiation of deliverables Assisting in technical evaluations of candidates Participating in software release initiatives Required Skills/Experience: 6 years of proven experience developing enterprise solutions Proficiency in scalable, multi-threaded services and service-oriented architectures Familiarity with SDLC Tools Experience learning new technical concepts and continuously investing in education, both formally and informally Experience with software engineering best practices: unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, excellent debugging, troubleshooting skills Proficiency in testing and debugging yours as well as your teammates’ code Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with relational, document and caching datastores Experience with Source Control, Build Pipelines, and Deployment tools Experience with inter-process communication solutions Why Coyote?
