Job Summary

The Operations Coordinator will be working directly with both hospital and clinic leadership teams to operationalize and maintain internal and external customer processes and applications. This position collaborates within an integrated healthcare system. Internal customers include CoxHealth leadership, providers, and support staff. External customers includes patients and health care partners. This role involves working closely with various departments, including IT, marketing and operations to ensure programs are operationalized throughout the system. This role will proactively work with clinic leaders and team members to provide education to maintain standards that assist with communication and improve the patient experience.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Nursing, Public Administration, or a related field OR at least 8 years' Clinical Management experience 
  • Experience
    • Required: Experience in healthcare, business, or related fields

Preferred: 5 years’ in healthcare leadership

  • Must be able to work effectively with staff, public, and external agencies
  • Must have the ability to take initiative and to exercise good judgment and decision-making
  • Problem solving
  • Goal-oriented and able to maintain organizational priority skills
