Job Summary
- A Construction Tech I is responsible for completing construction projects relating to preparation and application of Interior Finishes, Millwork, Cabinetry, Doors & Frames and Hardware. Will work with a team to accomplish the overall goal of the CoxHealth construction refresh projects. Responds to work requests timely and professionally and is able to complete work assignments. The Construction Tech I may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary and approved by supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Education
  - Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience
  - Required: At least 1 year construction or related experience
- Skills
  - Basic knowledge of skill trades in one or more of the following:
    - Paint Finishes
    - Wall Covering
    - Ceiling Finishes
    - Floor Finishes
    - Millwork, hardware and adjustments to existing
    - Door, Frames, Hardware and adjustment to existing
    - Basic Electrical
    - Basic Plumbing & fixtures
  - Problem solving skills
  - Basic communication skills.
  - Ability to prioritize workload.
  - Basic knowledge of the safe operation of all tools used in the performance of duties
  - Basic knowledge of the regulatory requirements governing fire alarm systems, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems and building repairs
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
  - Required: Active Driver's License
