Summary
- Job Summary
- The Cardiac Medical-Surgical CNA is responsible for providing basic patient care of the adult or geriatric patient experiencing general cardiac, medical, or surgical procedures under the direction of the nursing staff. The CNA must be able to take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, change linens and other duties as assigned. Also provides patients and families with support and education. The Cardiac Medical-Surgical CNA obtains information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff, and reports any changes in patient condition.
