- $33-$38/hr
- HS diploma, GED or relevant work experience
- Minimum 1 or more year of experience in related field (ie. Construction Planning or Network Operations) with a Telecommunications company
- Valid Drivers’ License and reliable transportation to drive between work sites (Mileage reimbursement offered)
- Ability to create site survey packages
- Ability to read and interpret plant maps
- Understanding of fiber optic materials and construction
- Knowledge of Window based applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and/or to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization. Strong written and verbal skills
- Must be self-motivated and enjoy a challenging fast paced work environment
- Familiarity with Workflow And Task Tracking Systems (WATTS)
- AS/AA or Technical Certification in related discipline desired
- Basic knowledge of the HFC and Fiber Plant to include: understanding of the telecom infrastructure, how service is provided; fiber to node; power supply and trunk knowledge
- Experience in telecommunications industry desired
- Familiarity / Exposure to reading civil engineering maps
