Job Description
What You’ll Do As a Construction Planner with Cox Communications, you’ll coordinate construction builds, rebuilds and upgrades, as well as perform field assessments, create efficient route designs and estimate costs.
Red tape? No match for you. Where applicable, you’ll obtain access and right-of-way agreements, and coordinate permitting and pole applications, joint-trenching, and make-ready for utility poles.
You’ll also repair and inspect Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) and / or Fiber networks to maintain construction standards, ensuring network readiness for launch or deployment of products. We’ll also need you to :
Primary work will be in support of plant extensions, cable replacements, third party damages, serviceability, repair quality checks, small / medium retail operations, network rebuilds, network relocates and upgrades.
Negotiates and approves design or construction changes with contractors and / or customers.

Benefits
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
